As the U.S. Senate advanced the Laken Riley Act one step closer to becoming law Thursday, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty released the following statement.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office is now accepting applications for the expungement of records of certain types of offenses committed by people under the age of 18.

Quintin Leon Hudson, 21, was sentenced to 165 months after pleading guilty in October to one count of fleeing a peace officer resulting in death and one count of fleeing a peace officer resulting in great bodily harm.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office secured guilty pleas from Antonio Deshawn Timberlake, 27, in relation to a Minneapolis shooting in February.
